Cuban cigar companies promote use of renewable energy

Cuba's state-owned cigar manufacturer TabaCuba recently announced that it will promote the use of renewable energy in multiple facilities in Pinar del Rio, Cuba's largest tobacco production province. TabaCuba president Marino Murillo said they plan to install relevant equipment in all factories in the first half of this year.

According to Murillo, the company's factories in Artemisa and other places have been equipped with equipment to increase productivity. TabaCuba is committed to promoting the use of renewable energy to ensure that production can continue when the power supply is interrupted, thus ensuring the continuity of production.
